Wagon Wheel Breakfast for Dutch Oven |

| 8 Brown & Serve sausages |
½ pkg light brown sugar |
| 5 Granny Smith apples, thinly sliced |
¼ lb (1 stick) butter |
| 1 pkg Marie Callendar’s cornbread mix (add water in accordance with pkg instructions) |
maple syrup & melted butter when serving |

| Directions: |

- Preheat Dutch oven.
- Brown sausages on all sides in bottom of Dutch oven, then arrange sausages like spokes of a wheel (do not drain any grease)
- Slice apples while sausages are browning, then lay on top of sausage “spokes.” Cover with brown sugar.
- Mix cornbread according to package directions and pour over apples and sausages.
- Cover Dutch oven and place 8 charcoal briquettes under the oven and 10 to 15 briquettes on top. Bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick stuck into the deepest part of the cornbread comes out clean.
- When done, turn the Dutch oven upside down onto the lid to serve. Cut into individual wedge servings. Serve with melted butter and warm syrup.
